Rolling Stones star Ronnie Wood has advised Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty to stop painting in blood.
The guitarist revealed that he is impressed by Doherty's artistic talent but believes that he should start using a more traditional medium.
"When I meet Pete he's a soft spoken soul. I don't know what his frustrations are," Ronnie told WENN. "I'd say to him, 'Yes, paint in blood, but you're jumping the gun by using it as your first medium.' You can't just start with people's blood when there's as much blood in a pencil.
"I'm sure if he knew he could do as much with a brush and a guitar he'd be great."
