The presenting pair, who usually front This Morning together, pledged to wear each other's attire if £1.5 million were raised before 10pm last night (December 21).

Within an hour, donations had reached £2.6 million, resulting in Schofield having to don Willoughby's fitted red dress and high heels. Walking on to the stage, he asked: "Shall I strike a pose?", before turning around and wiggling his bottom to the cameras.
Schofield then added: "I've just looked at the monitor, this is so disturbing."
Meanwhile, 31-year-old Willoughby - wearing Schofield's blue suit - produced a wax strip and placed it on her co-presenter's chest. Despite Schofield shouting "No, no, no", she pulled it off to remove a section of his chest hair.

The 50-year-old then said: "I can't believe you guys [women] put up with that!"
The total raised by Text Santa reached over £5 million last night.
