Peter Andre asks ITV to postpone show following brother's death

Peter Andre reportedly asked ITV to delay showing the most recent episode of his reality show Peter Andre: My Life following the death of his brother.

The 39-year-old singer and TV star apparently urged producers to postpone the transmission, which was originally set for last Wednesday (December 19), as it contained scenes of his brother Andrew's condition worsening.

The Sun reports that ITV2 were initially going to show the episode as a tribute to Andrew, who passed away on December 16, as it includes a message at the start and end about his death from kidney cancer.

However, after a request from his management, this episode has now been rescheduled for Thursday (December 27) out of respect to Andre's family.

According to the newspaper, a spokesperson for Andre is quoted as saying: "Everyone was at Andrew's side - his wife, daughter, Pete and their parents - the whole family.

"Andrew woke up, looked around at everyone to say goodbye, and then fell asleep. He passed away in his sleep. It was very peaceful."

The spokesperson added that Andre is "devastated" at the loss of his brother, and that "the whole family is in shock".
