Branson has allegedly given the pair the gift to reward Winslet, after she helped save his mother Eve from a fire at his Necker Island retreat last year.

Rocknroll works part-time at Branson's Virgin Galactic company, which hopes to start launching commercial flights next year.

Over 530 people have purchased the £124,000 ($199,909) tickets - including the likes of Russell Brand and Ashton Kutcher - while Professor Stephen Hawking has also been given a free ride by Branson.

Branson had previously said of Winslet: "She wants to go into space. I'm not sure she wants to go on a one-way trip to Mars, but she wants to go into space."
