The DJ said her north London home was broken into in the early hours as she slept. "Don't worry, everything's fine," she assured. "If you are in a pub in north London this evening and you get offered a copy of The Emperor's New Groove, a Sony Ericsson phone or a computer, buy it and then bring it back to me."
She went on to say she had found a record by Keane apparently discarded - but declined to draw conclusions about the band's dubious talents.
"They did leave a Keane album on the lawn in the front garden," she recalled. "I don't think it's a reflection on the musical talent of Keane. I think they must just have dropped it at 3am.
"The dog was barking. He went mad. I went down and told him to shut up," continued Cox. "But he barks at badgers, cats, he barks at his own shadow and he knew something was going on and I didn't believe him.
"This morning he was looking at me, like: 'I tried to tell you, mummy, I was barking a lot'."
