Joss Stone advised to quit US

Joss Stone's family have advised her to quit the US and return home to the UK.

The 19-year-old has sparked fears among her relatives that she is struggling to cope with the pressures of fame following her recent behaviour. She was mocked for speaking in an American accent at the Brit Awards earlier this year and was recently booed by fans when she turned up one hour late for a concert.

A family source told the Daily Star Sunday: "She could do a lot worse than take a rest with her family. It would be like rehab without the rehab - a real career-saving move."

Stone's grandfather Kenneth Stoker added: "My house is an open house for Joss. The family is here for her. I am over 80 and have all her records. When I hear her on the wireless I am very proud. We just want her to be happy."
