Lindsay Lohan mother Dina - who has publicly feuded with Michael since their divorce in 2007 - alleged in a recent interview that she experienced physical and sexual abuse at the hands of her ex-husband.

Speaking to the New York Daily News, Dina said: "[I want to] set the record straight. I need to make the world aware that Lindsay is messed up because her father is messed up."
TMZ reports that Michael's lawyer has sent a cease-and-desist letter to Dina which states that her claims of being raped by Michael in 1990 are "false, defamatory, and unlawful".

The letter goes on to accuse Dina of recently harassing Michael with a series of phone and email messages.
The 52-year-old father is now warning Dina to drop her accusations or face a defamation lawsuit.
