Vanessa filed for divorce from the LA Lakers star in December 2011 but rumours last February suggested that the couple had been seen kissing at a basketball game.

Speculation that the couple had reunited has intensified in recent days and the couple have now both posted messages online confirming that they are back together.
"I am happy to say that Vanessa and I are moving on with our lives together as a family," Kobe wrote on his Facebook page.

"When the show ends and the music stops, the journey is made beautiful by having that someone to share it with. Thank you all for your support and prayers!"
Meanwhile, Vanessa uploaded an image to her Instagram account with the message: "We are pleased to announce that we have reconciled. Our divorce action will be dismissed. We are looking forward to our future together."

The couple have two daughters together, 9-year-old Natalia and 6-year-old Gianna.
