Melanie Brown has named Eddie Murphy on her newborn daughter's birth certificate.

The former Spice Girl gave birth to Fortuna Daphne Bay Brown last week. She has repeatedly insisted that Murphy is the baby's father.

However, the Beverly Hills Cop actor dismissed Brown's paternity claims on Dutch TV show RTL Boulevard last November, saying: "I don't know whose child that is until it comes out and has a blood test."

Brown and Murphy dated for six months last year before the actor announced on TV that their relationship was over.
