The wrestler claims in a new lawsuit that doctors at the medical facility tricked him into undergoing multiple procedures that were apparently useless.
Hogan filed the legal claim in Pinellas-Pasco Circuit Court, stating that he consulted the firm in 2009 when he was seeking treatment for multiple lumbar spinal abnormalities including scoliosis and multiple bulging discs.
According to TMZ, Hogan claims that he fell for a sales pitch disguised as "medical advice" and allowed the LSI to perform multiple surgeries on his back.
However, he says that the treatment actually made him feel worse in the long run, and blames the institute for not advising him that laser treatment is only a temporary solution, not a permanent one.
As a result, he had to undergo greater back surgery with different doctors who ultimately fixed the problem.
The sportsman and entertainer now wants LSI to pay for causing him to miss out on employment opportunities.
Hogan also alleges that LSI used his name and image to promote its business without his permission.
