'Homeland's Claire Danes: 'I haven't lost post-pregnancy weight yet'

By
Claire Danes has admitted that she still has more post-pregnancy weight to lose.

The Homeland actress wore a halter-neck dress to the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, less than a month after giving birth to son Cyrus Michael Christopher Dancy.

The 'Best Actress in a TV Drama' winner told Us Weekly about getting rid of her extra pounds: "I haven't yet! I am very strapped into this dress.

"This is Versace, and they are really masters of illusion. I literally can't go to the bathroom unless I take the entire dress off. So, there [are] some serious things involved here."

However, Danes insisted that she didn't put on lots of weight while carrying her first child with husband Hugh Dancy.

She admitted: "I was on my feet a lot during the pregnancy. I was working hard. So I didn't have an opportunity to gain much.

"It's been a huge joy, this experience of becoming a mum. I don't know how to articulate it yet because it is so fresh."
