Lohan's attorney Shawn Holley appeared in court to enter a plea on the star's behalf, despite reportedly being fired yesterday.

Holley was asked by the judge if she was still representing Lohan, to which she said: "At this point, yes."

Lohan has since hired Mark Heller as her lawyer in New York.

Holley added: "The representation issue will be nailed down."

A bench warrant for Lohan's arrest would have been issued against her had Holley not arrived in court today, reports TMZ.

A pretrial date has now been scheduled for January 30, at which Lohan has been ordered to appear by the judge.

Lindsay Lohan had earlier refused a plea that could have kept her out of jail in relation to the crash incident. Santa Monica prosecutors were prepared to keep the actress away from jail time if she checked into "lockdown rehab" for six months.
