Court documents obtained by TMZ show that Page sought charges against Joshua Michael Myers following a Twitter tirade where he claimed he would kill the Juno star.

"I'm going to murder Ellen Page. She's dead," Myers is alleged to have written on the microblogging website.
Lawyers for Page have now successfully lobbied a Los Angeles court to bar Myers from contacting her in anyway.
Myers is required to refrain from any contact with the actress for three years.

A spokesperson for Page has not commented on this matter.
Page recently made headlines in a different manner when she signed on to appear in the apocalyptic drama Into the Forest, which is about teens living on a remote island.
Her next film The East - about ecoterrorism – is expected to hit cinemas this year.
