Speaking to former EastEnders star Kellie - who played Carly Wicks - she said to Digital Spy about the former hard man: "I think it's a brave thing for him to do. Everyone is used to him doing all those football hooligan-type films and he's doing comedy in this.

"People are going to be surprised. He's a really nice guy but people forget and think he's just kind of a hard man, but actually he's just a good actor.
"I think it's going to change people's opinion of him. It shows a different side. He's a fun person to have on a film set. Naughty but fun.
"It was so much fun. It's a brilliant cast, from Danny Dyer to Judy Dench, and it's one of the best jobs I've ever done.

"I've made a friend for life with Denise. She's inspiring and a really good comedy actress too."
On the film, which sees Dyer happily involved in a bigamous marriage with Sarah Harding and Denise Van Outen, and trying not to let the two meet, she said: "It's a silly film, like a Carry On. It's very British, and fun and you can watch it with your grandparents."

Speaking about Judi Dench's appearance in the film, she said: "She's in the opening scene - that's how the film kicks off. She's unrecognisable in it. She looks like Steptoe from Steptoe and Son.
"She was sat in the make-up chair next to me. She's a lovely lady - she has a laugh, she's funny, she's the same as everybody else. She got stuck in."
On working with Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding, she said: "I had lots of scenes with her. She was probably the most inexperienced out of everyone as she's just starting her career as an actress. She's a nice girl. Her and Denise are both very easy on the eye."

Kellie, who is an ambassador for charity Mencap, said: "The charity's affiliated with Run For Your Wife film premiere. You can support the brilliant charity and buy tickets to the premiere for £30 with proceeds going towards helping support people with a learning disability.
"You get to walk the red carpet, meet everybody and even come to the after-show party. Myself, Will Young, Christopher Eccleston and Jo Whiley are ambassadors. It's such a great charity."
