Avril Lavigne not troubled by press

Avril Lavigne has claimed that she has no sympathy for celebrities who complain about press intrusion.

The Girlfriend singer insisted that many stars have nobody to blame but themselves for the attention that they receive, though she admitted that some celebrities like Britney Spears will be unable to keep to themselves.

"The press isn't all over me like that," Lavigne explained. "[Britney's] probably one of the people who can't control it.

"But if you don't want it, you could get away from it. I don't want my picture taken all the time."
