In an interview with USA Today, Lopez said that her "whole world fell apart" when her marriage ended.
"I felt in [a] low place. It was the worst time in my life," she recalled. "[My kids Emme and Max] didn't know anything. They're starting to figure it out now, a year and a half later. They were just 3 at the time."
Lopez has since moved on to dating dancer Casper Smart, with engagement rumours popping up in the press in recent months.

"He's a nice person. My life is really good right now," the star said of Smart. "I'm at a point where I'm able to make decisions based on what I really want to do.
"I'm making decisions based on what I feel, which is never wrong no matter what the outcome is."

Lopez recently insisted that she has no regrets about her failed relationships with Marc Anthony, P Diddy and Ben Affleck.
