TV weathergirl Sian Lloyd has started a relationship with millionaire motor-racing entrepreneur Jonathan Ashman.
The 48-year-old was introduced to Ashman by Welsh Secretary Peter Hain at a political event seven weeks ago. It is Sian's first romance since she was dumped by Lib Dem MP Lembit Opik for Cheeky Girl Gabriela Irimia last year.
A friend of Sian's told the Mail On Sunday: "It's early days but they are very taken with one another. They go for romantic walks on Primrose Hill and share a love for theatre.
"They've both come into the relationship with a bit of baggage. Jonathan divorced five years ago and Sian is obviously still quite stung by what happened with Lembit. But there's a lot of affection between them and I think they both hope it's going to go a bit further.
"They both move in political circles and enjoy that side of things, so it's a pretty good match. And Jonathan isn't an attention-seeker, which Sian likes."
