Travis – who was found naked by police when arrested – announced a plea deal that saw him admit to drink driving in order to avoid prosecution, reports Gossip Cop.
He agreed to enter a 30-day rehabilitation programme - in addition to completing 100 hours of community service - in order to resolve the case.
Travis is also required to install a device in his car that will prevent the car from starting if he is over the legal blood alcohol limit.
The August 2012 incident was Travis's second arrest of the year, having previously been jailed in February for public intoxication in front of a Sanger, Texas church.
The musician recently claimed to have given up drinking alcohol in a bid to put his life back together.
