A tape of Alec Baldwin leaving an offensive voicemail to his daughter has been leaked to the media amidst a custody battle between himself and Kim Basinger.
Basinger has been forced to hire a bodyguard to protect her daughter, Ireland, after Baldwin left a threatening message on her phone.
He is reportedly to have called his daughter a "thoughtless little pig" on the voicemail.
Baldwin wrote on his official website: "I am sorry for what happened. But I am equally sorry that a court order was violated, which had deliberately been put under seal in this case.
"Although I have been told by numerous people not to worry to much, as all parents lose their patience with their kids, I am most saddened that this was released to the media because of what it does to a child."
