Ben Affleck reveals heartwarming message on hand after DGA Awards win

Ben Affleck revealed a heartwarming message scrawled on his hand by his children at the 65th Annual Directors Guild of America Awards in Los Angeles last night (February 3).

The 40-year-old actor and director proudly showed off the drawing of a heart with the message "I Love Papa, Good Luck" inked across his hands at the ceremony held at the Ray Dolby Ballroom in Hollywood.

The star has three young children with actress wife Jennifer Garner - Violet, 8, Seraphina, 4, and 1-year-old Samuel.

Affleck picked up 'Best Director' for Argo at the prestigious awards bash, which is usually a strong indicator of subsequent Oscar success.

However, Affleck has not been nominated in the 'Best Director' category at the Oscars.

The star was joined by Garner on the red carpet, who looked elegant in a white Antonio Berardi cocktail dress.

Affleck has also won the 'Best Director' prize at the Golden Globes and Critics Choice Awards in recent weeks.
