Mel B gives daughter Murphy's name

Mel B has attributed Eddie Murphy's surname to her new daughter.

The ex-Spice Girl, real name Melanie Brown, has christened her child Angel Iris Murphy Brown, despite the fact that the actor denies that he is the father.

"Mel was really distraught and humiliated by the way Eddie has treated her," a source close to the singer told the Daily Mirror. "She went through the agony of arranging a DNA test when the baby was born and now giving the child his surname is her way of telling the world Angel is his child."
