The 'Thinkin Bout You' singer apparently spoke to police after the fight and was considered the victim, although he announced last weekend that he would not press charges against Brown.
A police incident report about Ocean's interview with law enforcement has been obtained by TMZ and appears to shed more light on the incident.
Ocean reportedly told police that Brown initially offered to shake his hand when confronted about the parking spot, but then punched Ocean when he refused the gesture.
The Odd Future star also allegedly claimed that he heard someone call him a "f*ggot" during the brawl and that another person present even threatened to shoot him.
The entire scuffle apparently lasted no more than three minutes, before Brown and his entourage left the scene.
Neither party has officially commented on these latest details.
Steve Whitmore - a spokesperson for the LA sheriff's office - has said that Brown likely will not be charged with misdemeanour battery over the matter.
Police are believed to want to speak to Ocean once more, before officially closing the case.
Tension between the hip-hop stars is apparently rooted in allegations that Brown uttered the phrase "no homo" when asked about Ocean admitting that his first love with a man. Brown has strenuously denied ever using such a term about Ocean.
