Snoop Dogg has been denied entry to Australia after failing a character test.
The rapper was supposed to be hosting the MTV Australian Video Music Awards this Sunday, but has been denied by immigration.
Immigration Minister Kevin Andrews said: "He doesn't seem the sort of bloke we want in this country.
"This man has been a member of a Los Angeles gang, and is still associated with it apparently, that's been involved in murder, robberies and drug dealing in the LA area."
Snoop Dogg, real name Calvin Broadus, has 28 days to contest the ruling.
