Grant arrested over baked bean assault

Hugh Grant has been arrested over an assault allegation involving a can of baked beans.

The English actor reportedly threw the can at a photographer outside his home on Tuesday morning.

Ian Whittaker claimed that Grant kicked him and threw the container at him. The Metropolitan Police confirmed that a 46-year-old was released on bail after being arrested on suspicion of assault.

According to the Mirror, the actor was questioned at the police station before being ordered to return in a month for further questioning.
