Destiny's Child's Kelly Rowland laughs off "funny" Grammys dress code

Kelly Rowland has laughed off the controversial dress code CBS introduced for last night's Grammys.

The network sparked huge media attention when it wrote to the ceremony's guests to ask them to avoid outfits which would expose "female breast nipples" or "puffy" bare skin in the genital region.

Rowland - who wore a daring cut out George Chakra gown to the ceremony - joked about the dress code with reporters backstage, Us Weekly reports.

"It's so funny!" she said. "I thought about the dress code and thought about it again, and that's about it. I respect. See, I wore clothes!"

Rihanna caused controversy as her nipple ring was visible through her dress



Fellow attendee Jennifer Lopez, who caused controversy with her 'leg-bombing' dress, also commented on CBS's rules by quipping: "[The letter to attendees] mentioned things I don't even say in my house around my children."
