"Lonely" Lohan explains decision to party

Lindsay Lohan has complained that life as an actress can be "lonely".

The Mean Girls actress admitted that she likes to party in Los Angeles because she wants to spend time as much time as possible around other people.

"Though it's hard in LA not to go out, it gets lonely. Being an actress is lonely, and I never want to be alone," she explained. "I hate sleeping alone."

Lohan added: "It's so much harder to stay sober in New York."
