Organisers fear the London launch of Kate Moss's Topshop collection will be disrupted by May Day protesters.

The event is at the store in Oxford Street on Tuesday - a traditional day of action for campaigners. In previous years police have clashed with protesters near the store.

The Daily Star Sunday suggests some may target the store because of the supermodel's planned appearance.

“Everyone is expecting huge queues as soon as Kate’s range goes on sale," explained a source. “The last thing anyone wants is for the crowds to get caught up with protesters.

“Shoppers desperate to buy a supermodel’s new fashion range are bound to be a red rag to these anti-capitalist groups."
