Boy George has been arrested on suspicion of false imprisonment and assault charges.
Auden Carlsen, 28, alleges that the former Culture Club singer and another man chained him to a wall at the star's east London flat.
Carlsen, a Norwegian male escort, had arrived at the flat to pose for photographs in exchange for money.
Carlsen told The Mirror: "I was convinced I was going to die. George handcuffed me to a hook by the bed as they held me down."
A police spokesperson said: “We investigated reports of an alleged forced imprisonment and common assault made by a 28-year-old man. A man in his forties was arrested in connection with the investigation."
