The 'Spend It' rapper's van was stopped by police late last night and he was taken into custody for allegedly carrying the drug, law enforcement sources told TMZ.

He was apparently only in custody long enough to be booked for the crime, before being released by the authorities.
2 Chainz later vented frustration about the experience on Twitter, claiming the police asked him to pose for a photograph after his arrest.
"dam police f**kn wit a n**ga… Locked me up and then Wanted pictures smh (shaking my head) (sic)," he complained.
He later added: "We [went] to jail for a grinder??? REALLY???... I work hard and pray even harder , we gone always b good yall. Not to mention my security said it was his and they said , he don't smoke ,, how da f*k u know? Haha wut a valentines day!!!"
2 Chainz has had a string of hits on the US rap charts, including 'Mercy' featuring Kanye West and 'No Lie' featuring Drake.
