Whitney and Jordin

Sparkle
Centred around three singing teenage sisters who form a girl group in the Motown era, the film marks the final instalment in Whitney's career - and the debut of R&B/pop singer and American Idol winner Sparks as an actress.
Set in Detroit, Houston plays a veteran singer aware of the highs and lows of fame, and eager to protect her talented daughter from the pitfalls of celebrity.
The film is dedicated to Houston, who died three months after filming ended.
'Sparkle' is available on DVD now from Sony Pictures Entertainment.
