The Fast and the Furious actor posted the video to his official Facebook page with the caption: "Happy V Day..."
Dressed in a blazer and jeans, Diesel declares: "Happy V Day everyone," before launching into the song as the video for the track is projected onto a white wall beside him.
The star - who remains in the shadows throughout his performance - has yet to expand upon his choice of song or why he decided to show off his vocal talents.
Vin Diesel stars in Fast & Furious 6 alongside Dwayne Johnson and Paul Walker. The latest instalment of the long-running action franchise is scheduled for release on May 24.
