Courtney Love has revealed that she plans to put most of Kurt Cobain's possessions up for auction in an effort to make a fresh start.
"I'm going to have a Christie's auction," she announced. "(My house) is like a mausoleum. My daughter doesn't need to inherit a giant hefty bag full of flannel...shirts. A sweater, a guitar and the lyrics to 'Teen Spirit' - that's what my daughter gets. And the rest of it we'll just...sell."
She added that "a bunch" of the money raised will be donated to charity.
Love and Cobain wed in 1992 and had a daughter, Frances Bean, the same year. Cobain committed suicide two years later.
