A New York Daily News article published on Tuesday (February 19) included an image of Johansson wearing a diamond ring on her engagement finger during a walk in New York City.

The newspaper posited that Johansson may have accepted a marriage proposal from French journalist Dauriac in the last few weeks.
Johansson's spokesperson was quick to deny those claims to Gossip Cop, insisting that the Avengers star has no plans to marry.
The actress reportedly began dating Dauriac since November, mere weeks after she split from long-time love Nate Naylor.
Johansson revealed earlier this year that she has rarely thought about marrying again due to her divorce from ex-husband Ryan Reynolds in December 2010.
