The footballer-turned-actor told The Sun that he plans to visit his friend at the Arizona clinic where he's receiving treatment for alcoholism.
"Everyone is a million per cent behind trying to look after one of our crown jewels. I've been praying for him every day," Jones said.
"I am going to go and see him in Arizona. I want to let him get to a better level before I do."
Jones is funding Gascoigne's rehab stint alongside the likes of Chris Evans, Gary Lineker and Piers Morgan.
Gascoigne entered the Meadows Rehabilitation Centre in Phoenix earlier this month following a public breakdown at a charity dinner in Northampton.
He was later rushed to intensive care when his organs began to shut down following a bad reaction to alcohol withdrawal.
