'OK!' wins Douglases photo court battle

OK! magazine has won a House of Lords appeal over its battle with Hello!.
The two magazines have been fighting it out over the pictures from Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones' wedding, for which OK! purchased exclusive rights.
However, pictures from the event appeared in Hello at the same time as the official ones, leading to a huge legal battle between the two companies.
OK! and the couple won £1 million damages in the original court hearing, but an appeal by Hello nullified the money.
Although those damages have now been reinstated, the hearing found that Hello had not harmed their rival's business in any way, and consequently the legal costs for the case will be shared between the two mags.
