Britney Spears makes live comeback

Britney Spears has made her first live appearance since June 2004.

The 25-year-old took to the stage at the House of Blues in San Diego wearing a white miniskirt, a pink bra top and a brown wig.

An unknown act called The M&M's had been scheduled to perform, but Spears' fans filled the venue after rumours spread that the troubled pop star was planning to appear on stage.

Spears performed five songs including her hit singles '...Baby One More Time', 'I'm A Slave 4 U' and 'Toxic'.
