David Beckham's bum double 'disappoints' Thierry Henry: 'It's weird'

By
Thierry Henry has reportedly voiced his feelings on David Beckham's H&M advert.

The striker, who currently plays for New York Red Bulls, said he doesn't understand Beckham's reasons for using a bum double, arguing that the 37-year-old "should be in shape".

The Sun quotes Henry as saying: "I am disappointed. It is kind of weird. I don't know why he did that. He should be in shape. I need to talk with him about that."

The Guy Ritchie-directed video is said to have replaced Beckham with an unknown actor for some of the smaller parts.

Ritchie previously described Beckham as "the perfect leading man", saying: "For me this felt more than a campaign - it was like directing a short film."

The film, which features Beckham running through LA after a car takes his dressing gown, already has over eight million views.

Beckham claimed that he did "pretty much all [his] own stunts" in the 90-second clip.

He also said: "It was good fun playing an action hero for the day... and ending up in unexpected situations."
