It was reported earlier today (February 21) that LaBeouf had walked out of the production of Orphans after "backstage disagreements" and clashing with co-star Alec Baldwin.

Now, The New York Times reveals that Foster, who had previously auditioned for LaBeouf's role and has never starred in a play as a professional actor, will begin rehearsals tomorrow (February 22).
Earlier, a statement citing "creative differences" between LaBeouf - who was playing the role of Treat - and Baldwin had said that "the producers of Orphans and Shia LaBeouf will be parting ways and he will not be continuing with the production".

LaBeouf also shared an email from 30 Rock star Baldwin, which appeared to show the pair putting their differences aside.
It read: "I've been through this before. It's been a while. And perhaps some of the particulars are different.
"But it comes down to the fact that what we all do now is critical. Perhaps especially for you."
The play tells the story of two orphan brothers who kidnap a gangster, with actor Tom Sturridge starring as Treat's sibling Philip.
