Ora said: "Imagine! If I'd stayed, it would probably have been all over for me. At best, I'd be a contestant on that diving show…?' Splash!? Yeah, Splash! I love that show."
Ewen went on to win the Eurovision show Your Country Needs You! and represented the UK at the 2009 contest in Moscow. She appeared as a contestant on the ITV diving series earlier this year.
The singer responded to Ora's comments on Twitter, saying that she is "proud" of her achievements, while also noting that some people "sleep their way" to fame.

Ora was also quoted in the London Evening Standard as saying: "I was 16. Andrew Lloyd Webber was there. Right from the start I was, like, 'What am I doing here?'
"I did my song and walked out. No-one knew what to do. They started looking for me, calling my agent."
Rita Ora has also revealed that she has discussed a possible X Factor judging role with Simon Cowell.
