Chris Tarrant's estranged wife Ingrid has mocked claims made by the TV host's latest dumped lover.
Ingrid poured scorn on a tabloid interview given by 45-year-old Carole Hesford, who declared that Who Wants To Be A Millionaire presenter Tarrant was a "ten out of ten in bed".
"Ten out of ten? That poor girl. If she thinks Chris is that good in bed then she hasn't lived, I can tell you. I almost died laughing when I read that," Ingrid told the Daily Star Sunday. "Chris is a five out of ten at his very best - and that's on a good day. I can only feel sorry for her."
Ingrid, who was married to Chris for 15 years, also denied calling Carole a "slut" in text messages that she sent to Tarrant.
"I never called Carole 'the slut from Manchester'. As If I'd be so unimaginative as to say something like that," she added. "I was very clear in my texts to Chris what I thought of her. I called her the 'Manky Mancunian', which is far more appropriate.
"I really don't understand why she feels the need to be so unpleasant about me. I think she's an awful woman. I haven't done anything wrong. I was his wife and he cheated on me, so now we're getting divorced. That's it."
