Prince William takes a shine to Fearne

Prince William has taken a shine to TV presenter Fearne Cotton.

William, who split from girlfriend Kate Middleton last month, revealed his feelings to Fearne when she met him for a BBC interview which will be screened on the day of the Diana memorial concert.

However, Fearne was forced to let the Prince down gently, as she is already dating 21-year-old student Jesse Jenkins.

"We thought it was hilarious when Fearne told us what had happened," her father Mick told the Daily Star Sunday. "We still can't believe it - Prince William is smitten with our daughter. She'd definitely make a fantastic Queen.

"We knew she was interviewing William and his brother Harry for the Diana memorial concert but we never dreamed something like this would happen. They got on really well and we're chuffed to bits that he took a shine to her."
