Hilton changes lawyer for appeal

Paris Hilton has reportedly changed her legal representation in an effort to avoid a 45 day jail sentence.

The hotel heiress was handed the sentence last Friday for driving without a valid licence.

Hilton has relieved Howard Weitzman of his services, and hired in his stead notorious drunk-driving defence lawyer Richard Hutton.

She will appeal her conviction before next month when she is due to serve her time.
