Smashing Pumpkins have been on the receiving end of a burglary at their studio.
Two thieves broke into the complex, and are thought to have taken some artwork for the band's upcoming album Zeitgeist. The art appeared later the same day on an internet site.
The band has released a statement confirming: "The two people who are now in jail illegally gained access to the band's private space and stole various items belonging to them over the course of several hours while the band had left for the evening."
Zeitgeist will be released on July 7.
