Depp praises 'perfect' Richards

Johnny Depp has lavished praise on Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards.

The 43-year-old actor was blown away by Richards' performance in the third instalment of the Pirates of the Caribbean film series.

Richards makes his acting debut as Captain Teague, the father of Depp's character Captain Jack, in At World's End, which is released in the UK on May 25.

Depp said: "Keith did his bit like it was any other gig - he did it perfectly. It wasn't like, you know, people could tell that it was his first cinematic venture. He was just perfect."
