Jolie to patent Shiloh's name?

Angelina Jolie is considering patenting her daughter's name, according to reports.
The actress is hoping to prevent companies using the name Shiloh for products, with specific focus on the Hors La Monde Corp fragrance manufacturer, who plan to use the title for their new perfume.
Jolie has allegedly written to the US Patent and Trademark office to prevent the firm proceeding with their plans.
However, a source at the company claims the name was thought up independently of the Jolie-Pitt family connections, and is related to owner Symine Salimpour's background: "Symine is a citizen of both France and Israel, but she identifies strongly with her Israeli roots - it's a spiritual thing for her. Shiloh is a Hebrew name that means 'his gift.'"
