Avril Lavigne has posed semi-naked for the cover of Blender magazine despite famously rejecting the notion.
The 'Sk8ter Boi' singer said a few years ago that she would never follow other celebrities in showing off her figure.
She said: "I have a great body. I could be better than Britney, but I won't wear skanky clothes that show off my booty, my belly or my boobs."
However, the photoshoot for Blender sees the pop singer topless and posing in a series of suggestive positions.
