'Teen Mom' star Farrah Abraham defends selling her sex tape

By
Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham has defended selling her sex tape to Vivid Entertainment.

Abraham made headlines in April for confirming widely published reports that she filmed a sex tape with porn star James Deen, but insisted that the footage was for private use.

The reality star reversed her decision a week later when she reached a reported seven figure deal with porn company Vivid to officially license the sex tape.

Abraham has now released a video statement to explain her reasoning for selling the footage, and also appeared to chastise Deen for initially speaking publicly about the tape.

"So, on the real, what would you do?" she asked viewers. "You have been a single mother for four years off and on dating loser-ass boys who always try to sell information, lie to you, manipulate and you've just realised you're an awesome person and you deserve someone."

The star went on to say: "So you make your own video, celebrate your awesome body, get your own sexy shots. So, the person you did this with has an urge to yell it out when he should be professional and not.

"So you have companies interested. Why not sell it, and that's what I did."

The sex tape is expected to be released under the title Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom.

Abraham was also in the news separately for pleading not guilty to a March DUI arrest earlier this week.
