'Miranda' Tom Ellis naked party trick revealed by Tamzin Outhwaite

By
Miranda star Tom Ellis has perfected a move known as the 'naked dinosaur' that he likes to show off at parties, his wife Tamzin Outhwaite has revealed to Digital Spy.

The former EastEnders actress said she found it "funny" that Ellis is considered a sex symbol, as she knows how "geeky" he can be in private.

"When you see the geeky Tom at home doing the dinosaur around the kitchen half-naked, he's not a sexy symbol to me," Outhwaite said, before telling DS: "At some point you'll have to ask him to do the dinosaur."

When we suggested that Ellis might not agree to that, she replied: "I bet you he would, because actually he gets the dinosaur out at parties. It's a dance, by the way.

"Or not even a dance, a move. But one day, when you next meet him, can you say, 'Tamzin said that you'd show off the dinosaur?'"

Outhwaite added that she is "very proud" of Ellis for landing a role in US drama Once Upon a Time, but is not sure if she'd ever join him on the show.

"He's doing really well and... it's all pretty happy days at the moment," she said. "I think my princess days are over. I think my queen days might even be over.

"We always say we'd like to work together, but we're not desperate to. We're not big arguers, so I can't imagine [working together will] be a problem."

Outhwaite and Ellis were introduced by mutual friend James McAvoy in 2005 and married the following year. They have two daughters, Florence, 4, and 10-month-old Marnie Mae.

Outhwaite was speaking in support of Prostate Cancer UK. For more information visit http://prostatecanceruk.org.
