Lady GaGa asks court to block 'harmful' lawsuit files

By
Lady GaGa has filed legal documents in an attempt to stop details of a lawsuit being made public.

The singer's ex-collaborator Wendy Starland sued her former boyfriend and producer Rob Fusari in 2010, claiming that she was owed money for her role in discovering GaGa.

The 'Bad Romance' star filed documents earlier this week to have certain information in the Starland/Fusari case sealed by the court, TMZ reports.

She claims that the details in the lawsuit are "sensitive, private and personal" and wants to prevent them ever leaking to the public.

The 27-year-old says that it would "inflict significant personal and professional harm upon" her if the information came out.

She also insists that she and Fusari are legally bound to keep the information private as part of a non-disparagement agreement between them.

They dropped separate lawsuits they had filed against one another in 2010 over claims that he had not been properly compensated for significantly contributing to her career.

A judge has yet to rule on GaGa's latest request.
