Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Lawrence top Forbes highest-paid actresses

Angelina Jolie has been revealed as the highest-paid actress in Hollywood by Forbes.

The finance magazine reports that Jolie earned an estimated $33 million (£21.4m) between June 2012 and June 2013, despite having not starred in a live-action film since the 2010 flop The Tourist.

Hunger Games starlet Jennifer Lawrence came in second on the list, earning around $24 million (£15.6m).

Kristen Stewart, who topped the list last year thanks to her Twilight and Snow White and the Huntsman roles, slipped to number three.

Jennifer Aniston ($20m/£13m) and The Amazing Spider-Man actress Emma Stone ($16m/£10m) round out the top five, while Oscar winners Charlize Theron ($15m/£9m), Sandra Bullock and Natalie Portman (both on $14m/£9m) follow.

Mila Kunis and Julia Roberts completed the list at nine and ten respectively, both earning $11m (£7m).

Last week, Robert Downey Jr was revealed to be the highest-paid actor in Hollywood, while Lady Gaga was named the top earning celebrity under 30.
